This Vision is a collective contribution from the Zomba CCAP congregation. The entire congregation was involved in coming up with the aspirations in the Zomba CCAP Vision 2062. These are ambitious aspirations but achievable because we are all committed and have said, “We will Do It”.
The coordination and collection of these aspirations were done by a Taskforce instituted by the Moderator (Rev Charles Masambuka), the Associate Minister (Rev Dr Takuze Chitsulo), the Management, and the Session of Zomba CCAP.
The vision development Taskforce comprised Prof. Levison Chiwaula (Chairperson), Mr Patrick Ngauma (Vice-Chairperson), Mr Levison Nkhoma, Mr Jameson Ndawala, Dr Jacob Mazalale, Mrs Betty Chitsulo, Mr DVB Vuwa Phiri, Mrs Wezi Ndawala, Dr Grace Chiuye, and Dr Joseph Nagoli.
The 2023 Zomba CCAP Church Calendar of Activities is finally here! This year's calendar is packed with exciting events and programs that cater to the needs of everyone in the church community. The calendar features a variety of religious events such as worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies, and fellowship gatherings. Additionally, the calendar also includes community outreach programs such as charity events, youth programs, and educational seminars. The church leaders have carefully curated the activities to provide meaningful experiences that promote spiritual growth, strengthen relationships, and foster a sense of community among members. With this year's calendar, the Zomba CCAP Church is poised to continue its mission of spreading the gospel and making a positive impact in the lives of its members and the surrounding community.
The 2019-2023 Strategic Plan for Zomba CCAP congregation focuses on four strategic goals that the church will strive to achieve over the next five years. These strategic goals are: strengthened evangelism and community outreach, enhanced management and governance systems, improved financial sustainability and social development and improved infrastructure. The goals provide the framework that will guide Zomba CCAP congregation’s activities and the extent of implementation levels to fulfill its mission.
Zomba CCAP congregation is, therefore, committed to achieving the strategic goals in order to survive, improve as well as sustain the spiritual growth of its members and the wider community through preaching, teaching and evangelizing.
Zomba CCAP congregation, located in Zomba City, the old capital of Malawi, was established in 1898, and currently boasts 1,638 Christians, of which 115 are church elders and 103 church deacons.
